SAFARI HIGHLIGHT: The 14 Days will take you on your Uganda safari to explore big game viewing, mountain gorilla and chimpanzee trekking, Boat cruises along the Uganda’s waters. On 14 Days safari we shall take you to explore Uganda’s wildlife and also some of the authentic sites like river Nile the world’s longest River , during this two weeks, you will get to see big five, track gorillas in Bwindi impenetrable forest national park and chimpanzee expeditions in their natural habitat kibale national park for encounter of life time memories in the wild  but habituated chimps, you will proceed to view games in our  prized Murchison falls national park and queen Elizabeth national park and through the journey you will explore allots of unique geographical features and scenic allure, plus a great deal of diverse cultures

DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 1: 

On your arrival at Entebbe international airport you will be highly welcomed by our safari guide from Tour De Channel African Safari tours and travel who will be eagerly waiting to pick you upon your arrival and drop you at booked hotel in Kampala/ Entebbe

Day 2: pick from place of accommodation and transfer to Murchison fall national park

You will have early morning breakfast and meet your guide who will pick you and transfer you to Murchison falls national park the largest park in Uganda and its takes 4-5 hours’ drive by road and have lunch stop in Masindi town after proceed to the park. On arrival you will be taken to visit the top of falls were river Nile forces its way through the rocky gap of 7meters.

Day 3: Full days explore Murchison fall national park

Start your day with warm cup of coffee/tea and meet your safari guide to take for the morning game drive in search of wildlife that unique in African savannah like solitary cape buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, Uganda kobs, bushbucks, sitatunga, lions, leopards and hyenas alongside wide variety of bird species. You later return to the hotel for full breakfast and relax until lunch.

In the afternoon you will go for the adventure boat cruise on river Nile at the bottom of thundering falls were you are given to view more wildlife like crocodiles, schools of hippos, waterbuck bird’s life like shoebill stork and many more. You will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: transfer to fort portal

You will early morning breakfast and check out of the lodge to transfer to fort portal passing via the Albertine escarpments of the western arm rift valley. Drive through Hoima town of Bunyoro kingdom and the amazing country side of many tea plantations and beautiful homesteads. You will reach in fort portal by afternoon and check in to the booked lodge until dinner and overnight

DAY 5: EXPLORE KIBALE NATIONAL PARK

Today will have early morning breakfast and transfer at the briefing center of kibale national park in Kanyachu , after your briefing from ranger guides they will lead you to the forest for the primate watching. Afternoon you will go for the Bigodi wetland swamp walk or visit community families to have view on their culture

DAY 6: TRANSFER TO SEMULIKI NATIONAL PARK TO EXPLORE SEMPAYA HOT SPRINGS AND AFTERNOON TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

Visit Semuliki national park. This fantastic scenery, hot springs, forest walk, amazing birdlife, primates viewing and Semuliki River meanders. At Mungu Ni mukubwa while mountains ranges, the road offers scenic views of meandering river, fuming hot springs, and tropical rainforest. Have picnic lunch at Sempaya hot springs and then drive to Queen Elizabeth national park reaching by late evening check in the booked lodge for dinner and overnight.

 

DAY 7: MORNING VISIT TO KYAMBURA GORGE AND AFTERNOON BOAT CRUISE ON KAZINGA CHANNEL

Rise before the sun and drive to Kyambura Gorge for the thrilling chimpanzee trekking, your guided walk takes for about 2-5 hours were you have chances of meeting more primates alongside chimps like red Columbus monkeys, vervet monkeys, olive baboons, red tailed monkeys and many more and you should know that chimpanzee tracking permits here a much cheaper than for kibale national park. You will later return to the lodge for lunch

In the afternoon you will be taken for the adventure boat cruise on Kazinga channel that gives you chance to explore more wildlife on water like schools of hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes and elephants are also seen cooling off their bodies, waterbucks alongside water birds

Day 8 :GAME DRIVE IN ISHASHA SECTOR TO LOOK FOR TREE CLIMBING LIONS

You will have early morning breakfast and check out of the lodge to go for morning game drive to the southern remote sector of Queen Elizabeth nation park ishasha sector known for its rare tree climbing lions. Your will be likely to meet some wildlife along the way like hippos, hyenas, elephants, leopards, waterbucks and many more.

You will reach by midday and relax at the booked hotel and relax until lunch. Immediately after your lunch you will go for another game drive through Katooke gate to look for tree climbing lions. Later return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 9: TRANSFER TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK

You will have relaxed breakfast and check out of the lodge to transfer to Buhoma with interesting views along the way like tea plantations, tea factories in Kayoza and then proceed to Bwindi impenetrable national park checking to the booked hotel for lunch and relax until dinner and overnight.

DAY 10: GORILLA EXPERIENCE IN BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK

You will have early morning game drive and then meet your drive to transfer you to the park headquarters for briefing by Uganda wildlife rangers guides, immediately your gorilla trek will start which takes about 2-8 hours in the forest looking for the gentle apes, upon meeting them you will be allowed to be with them for 1 hour and return to the lodge for the rest of the day until dinner and overnight

DAY 11: MORNING RELAXATION AT THE LODGE AND AFTERNOON COMMUNITY WALK TO BATWA

You will have relaxed breakfast and enjoying your morning at the lodge while relaxing from the long day hike of gorilla trekking until lunch.

In the afternoon you will walk to the community of Batwa in the edges of Bwindi forest. Batwa are the ancient pygmies that lived in the forest of Bwindi as hunters and food gatherers for survive, you will spend while learning about their culture.

DAY 12: TRANSFER TO LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK

Today you will relaxed breakfast and check out of the lodge to transfer to Lake Mburo national park with amazing sceneries of rolling hills and slopes ok

Kigezi region and then to calm town of Mbarara were you will have lunch stop and after continue to the booked lodge for  the rest of the day

DAY 13: MORNING GAME AND AFTERNOON BOAT CRUISE

You will wake up early morning and take warm cup of coffee/tea and meet your guide to go for the morning game drive to search for wildlife in this small savanna park like sitatunga, dikers, elands, zebras, oribis, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes and many more and later return to the lodge for full breakfast and relax until lunch.

In the afternoon you will drive to go for the adventure boat cruise on Lake Mburo were you will have another chance to see wildlife on water like hippos, crocodiles, waterbucks on the banks of the lake and water birds

You will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight

DAY 14: TRANSFER TO KAMPALA AND DEPARTURE

You will have relaxed breakfast and check out of the lodge to transfer to Kampala with en-route game viewing as you’re getting out of the park and also another stop at Uganda equator line for photo moments and explore souvenir markets. You will reach Kampala by lunch time and check in to the hotel relax until flight time
